SKALE IMA Bridge
SKALE IMA Bridge is the Interchain Messaging Agent bridge used for token and message transfer between Ethereum and SKALE chains. On August 27, 2026, infrastructure providers running validator nodes were compromised and the Ethereum-connected IMA Bridge infrastructure was exploited, draining ERC-20 assets. SKALE paused the affected bridge while investigating the precise attack vector and total loss; SKALE on Base was explicitly reported as unaffected.
