Harmony Horizon Bridge
Harmony Horizon Bridge is included because of the June 2022 exploit commonly reported at about $100 million. The incident was later attributed by the FBI to Lazarus Group actors, and the bridge's recovery/reimbursement aftermath remains historically significant.
2026 Harmony / ONE exploit signal under review
Under Review · 2026-08-12
Harmony has publicly described an exploit response that includes coordinating with exchanges to block or freeze traced funds and working on patch and rollback options. Separate on-chain analysis alleges a large unauthorized ONE mint and rapid exchange inflows. BIR has not yet established whether the 2026 event involved Horizon Bridge or another bridge/cross-chain component.
This is a reviewed monitoring notice, not a canonical BIR incident classification. The existing 2022 Horizon Bridge exploit remains a separate incident record. If bridge involvement is confirmed, the 2026 event will be recorded as a new incident rather than replacing the 2022 case.
