Butter Bridge V3.1
Butter Bridge V3.1 provided the MAPO cross-chain service between legacy ERC-20 MAPO and MAP Protocol mainnet MAPO. On May 20, 2026, the OmniServiceProxy path was exploited to mint unauthorized MAPO on Ethereum and BNB Chain. MAP Protocol states that mainnet consensus, native MAPO, light-client verification, Oracle multisig, and project-team keys were unaffected; the affected service was suspended and remediation followed.
